Four Wheel Disc Brakes

At Custom Cruisers FJ40, we have had very good luck with
the Toyota Truck front disc. We use the front disc brakes off
of a 1979-1984 Toyota 4x4 mini truck. The advantage to
using the Toyota truck parts, are that you get four piston
Disc brake Calipers, and a larger and stronger Berfield joint,
and stronger steering arms. The conversion is fairly simple.
It can be done with hand tools and a small grinder in about
8hrs time.

Rear Disc

At Custom Cruisers FJ40, we design and build our own kit
for the rear. We useToyota Rotors & Calipers. Our kit is a
complete bolt on. No special Rotors or Calipers to buy. By
using the stock Toyota Rotors and Calipers this tends to
give a better Balanced Braking System, when using the
Toyota Truck or LandCruiser Front Disc.

We also have High Performance
Drilled Rotors for Better cooling and
better stopping

Proportioning valve

We use the Wilwood adjustable proportioning valve. This
valve allows for easy adjustment of front to rear break
bias. The valve has a 100 to 1500 psi range, Up to 57 %
pressure reduction.
